OPEN CALL for EZERA SKANAS summer camp. 

Participants joining the campus will take part in creating individual projects such as installations, floating objects, photo and film projects, and musical performances. It is an open space where people meet, learn and experiment in a free flow state. The campus provides with materials and basic infrastructure, so every person has time and space to materialize their visions. All creations climax on the lake at sunrise. 

Applications are completed. 

Currently there are openings in the following disciplines:

Design / architecture, 1 person: participant must have interest and experience in design and / or architecture fields and needs to be capable of designing a floating installation. The floating base is provided by the organization team. This year’s theme is ‘'A place to meet’’. The funding for the installation is granted by Laima.

Photography, 3 persons: participants will work on photo projects around the Kala Lake territory. The central theme is: ‘’I’m looking at a fuzzy cloud’', reflecting on magical capabilities of human brain to find patterns in abstract visuals. The photography camp is moderated by Filips Smits.


Volunteer, 8 persons:  participants will help maintain the camp and help designing teams to finish their projects. Tasks will include painting, carpentering, cooking, maintaining the campus.

The music camp for this year is complete with 8 artists.


Note: All participants are camping at the venue, which is a remote and natural area. People should be comfortable camping outdoors between 4th and 11th of August. Meals are provided by the organization team.
